Public records show San Francisco's Department of Emergency Management continued sweeping homeless people and confiscating their tents, shoes, clothing, and survival supplies in the runup to last week's storm, even as the department warned residents to take shelter.

I spent years proving Mayor Breed uses her personal phone to order homeless sweeps & then illegally deletes the messages. She'll likely face no accountability 👇👇 But it's not just her - under capitalism it's the mayor's job to criminalize the poor. A better world is possible!

This was crazy, I can't believe we did it. Alameda County is the first county in the country to divest from Israel. This campaign took the participation of thousands of people standing up against colonialism and I'm so proud of every single one of us.

Tough competition but this was one of the rage inducing stories I read this year. Heart break over several stories. Heart just keeps breaking.

This is the FOURTH time the city has failed to get the case dismissed… Judge was not pleased & said in her opinion, “This is unhelpful and wastes court resources.” The SF City Attorney is not just wasting the court’s time but also city $$ with these baseless challenges 💁‍♀️

Public records show the new mayor of San Francisco met with Goldman Sachs, Blackstone, and JP Morgan Chase before the city's supervisors or neighborhood groups. Probably an indicator of his priorities!
