I visited a rice cooperative in Tien Giang that produces organic rice with technology & support provided under the Vietnam Agriculture Sustainable Transformation project. Their motto, "1M (must) & 5Rs (reductions)" led the way towards a triple win. <1/3> World Bank East Asia Pacific

The motto that supported good agriculture practices: 1 M: Must have good seeds 5Rs: Reduce the use of density of seeds, fertilizer, pesticides, water, and post-harvest loss. <2/3>

The triple win of low-carbon rice farming: +Green - Reduction of 10 tons CO2 equivalent/ha +Resilient - Less water, healthy soil and plants +Inclusive - 20-30% reduction in production cost & 25-30% increase in profits for farmers. Good opportunity to scale up! <3/3>
