There's a few repair jobs on my bench just now. This one is a tight back binding so the spine removal was a bit more of a challenge – over three hours slowly and carefully teasing it away while keeping it all in one piece.

Another completed cutaway model – this one a medieval style binding. Oak boards, parchment flyleaves and spine linings, and there the accuracy of materials ends. But it shows the construction well!

Also, been working on an unknown parentage case for the last year, Acadian endogamy 🥴 but finally found the bio parent this week…. Aaaaand they are the victim in a 45 year old unsolved murder case 😳
