Not surprised. When we returned home from our first Australia trip years ago, we went all over town looking for coffee of that caliber but were disappointed with every place we tried. Granted, we were in a small city, but still.

One of those days involving very simulating data and project discussions with my trainees! Just energizes me! Love it! 🥰

Agreed! On that note, celebrating our latest NoA from The National Institute on Aging (NIA)! Grateful for the funding in this brutal FY 🙏 On the flip side, another proposal went 20->18->13% at NINDS but will not be funded coz the payline dropped to 11% 😩 (from 2017-2023 the payline was >14%! 🫤).

When this few days old elephant calf was rescued from brink of death. To current condition; when he is a healthy four year old. Best thing you will watch today.

Having driven along these exact roads a few short weeks ago, it is surreal to see this. One of my favorite beers is brewed by Homeplace Beer Company in this very small town. I wonder if it even exists anymore!

Manuscript accepted! 🎉🎊 Nothing like an acceptance email to raise one's spirit (especially when peer review drags on forever)!

Landfall tomorrow. We're in the neighboring county, but it's forecast to be bad everywhere around Tampa Bay! #Milton2024 #miltonhurricane

One of my favorite examples of how a change of a single atom can cause havoc: Vancomycin, often the "antibiotic of last resort", loses efficacy by 1000-fold when a single N atom is mutated to an O by the bacterium (causing repulsion instead of a hydrogen bond).
