I am extremely disappointed to see that Fórsa trade union is forced to write this statement 55 members of Government were out at strikes taking photos for social media & yet we still see no concrete action to provide equality for workers The time to act is now #PensionParity

Groups being able to take cases not the problem - there can be actual issues that only get addressed this way. The problem is the unnecessary delay baked into that process, similar to the delay with application sitting awaiting approval with ABP for the bones of 3 years.

That’s quite an own goal by Transport Minister Darragh O’Brien delaying the Finglas Luas by two years, and stalling on DART+ South West till 2030, on World Sustainable Transport Day, no less. Who needs Judicial Reviews when Fianna Fáil’s running the show?

Ireland's only supervised injection centre has been open for nearly a year. It's reduced overdose deaths, public injecting, and needle dumping on our streets. They're now applying for long-term planning permission and I'm backing it 100%.

I remember being lectured on here by very sensible people when the site was being sold by DIT to investors (rather than state finding a way to keep in public ownership for social and affordable housing). Great if it happens but what a waste of 10 years / 10s of millions of €.

Walked past Bambinos twice on Friday night and formulated a working theory that queuing for luxuries is having a cultural moment as a nostaligic shared experience sort of a thing.

Frantic scenes at the Department of Transport as they scramble for another excuse to delay before heading off for Christmas.

Fascinating messaging here.... when Fine Gael's primary impact on the majority of these first time buyers has been to make it significantly more expensive for them to buy that home.

Childcare businesses who didn’t like having the fees they charge parents capped at €295 a week per child, and so they left the public funding scheme so that they can continue charging some of the highest fees in the EU, now don’t want to pay their staff at least €15 an hour.

Man Bites Dog > Dog Bites Man A large minority in support of higher taxes is editorially noteworthy because it runs against the assumed public view. But framing it either way while presenting all facts IS NOT MISLEADING.

Driving on Cork Street earlier. Stopped at a set of lights. Lady in the car beside me - Looking at her phone. Fella in the car behind me - Looking at his phone. Fella then moved into the bus lane to overtake me because I drove at ~50kmph in a 50kmph zone. Hopeless.
