We may not be able to meet as a team but Covid is no barrier to our Service engagement as we plan to meet future challenges & gain employee insights. A great and valuable event organised by the department, paused temporarily to pay our respects for #ArmisticeDay

It’s not been possible for our community safety officers to deliver fire safety education in schools so we’ve taken our lessons online. Fantastic teamwork between our graphic & communication team with DFRS Prevention to develop & create this valuable virtual learning #TeamDFRS

Mr Donald Rose, 106 years young, has served in the 7th Armoured infantry across N Africa, Europe and Middle East, awarded the French Medal of Honour, in his bucket list was to ride in a fire engine. It was our honour Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service to meet him and make his wish come true today 🚒

What an honour for our team to arrange this trip for Donald & his family today and how amazing that our brilliant colleagues in @DFRSTraining built a ramp especially to aid Donald getting into the fire engine 🚒 #TeamDFRS

A great couple of days talking to our staff, exchanging ideas, setting the scene for challenges & influences on the work of the fire and rescue service in the future. Great engagement and fantastic to be getting back to normal. #TeamDFRS
