I wish the Haranir weren't as narrative disjointed, however, I WILL be using this shit day one to represent my old asf Half-Troll properly.

Realizing twitter is like 99 percent this image because it prioritizes negativity, 24/7 for likes and clout and too fucking often because it's the 'woke' or 'based' or 'unbiased' thing to do when in reality you're all just being assholes

lmao Reminds me, warlocks are still unable to speak in demonic in-game, the devs took away that capacity when Demon Hunters were introduced for whatever unfathomable reason

Do not villain bat zul'jan This is a much more interesting dynamic moving forward for everyone Zul'jan is right in many regards. The Zandalari caste system is sustained by the Loa for example. He's a perfect antihero.

I'm gonna get lumped in w/shills when this expansion comes out man I know it lol it's just weird as someone who has hated like, 99 percent of the story choices from Legion to TWW there's no critique from the community anymore just 'well they did this BEFORE so it's bad NOW'

Grox I suppose I don't really consider 'power of friendship' poor writing at all, that's just a theme that seems not to resonate with the audience but was never really a problem with me. My only issue is the Kaldorei should not be there helping with the well at all.

The largest friendly town in Zul'Aman is not the renown hub, Amani'Zar Village, but Witherbark Bluffs. I like to think it's an apology to the Witherbark for killing a bunch of them in the 11.1.7. quests. =P

New Zul'jan dialogue / stay awhile I hadn't seen before. This is really good I wish Jarra recognized more that Jan has a point: the Loa didn't save Zandalar from the Alliance, the Loa sustain the caste system of Zandalar that doesn't exist in Zul'Aman, etc

Shamanism in wow originally tied heavily into IRL non western spiritualism/religion with the ancestors and the spirits. The elemental power displays were secondary It was a form of necromancy, communing with the dead like the orcs and tauren showed. Now its Avatar bending...yay

At risk of clowning myself before we see the max level campaign, I think Midnight is excelling at the *scale* of the inter-factional friendships that form. Instead of entire political groups becoming friends, it's returning to *individuals* becoming friends despite the divide.

It feels a lot more akin to Thrall and Jaina in WC3-Cata, or all of Anduin's story pre-BfA. Individuals being unable to magically fix the conflict, but forming common ground despite that. It's much more the true heart of Warcraft than full faction war *or* perfect peace, to me.

And ideally, the max level campaign stays consistent. The divide between the high elves/blood elves/void elves is *interesting*, and each side has engaging reasons to not toss it aside for full unity. There can be understanding between them without homogenization, is my hope.
