I am really happy to see the #preprint of our work studying #acral #melanoma tumours from 🇲🇽 Mexican patients out today! This has been a ~8 year-long work involving many colleagues from Mexico and abroad. Some of our findings here below.... ⬇️ (1/12)

And when we tested this hypothesis comparing the transcriptional program between NRAS, BRAF and NRAS/BRAF-WT tumours, indeed we see that BRAF-mutated tumours have a more 'cutaneous-like' (as opposed to 'volar-like' (i.e. acral skin)) program! We also see this in other data (8/12)
