Re-wearing your clothes shouldn’t be a radical idea. It’s something we grew up doing. If something ripped we fixed it. If it got dirty we washed it. The fashion industry is one of the biggest contributors to the #ClimateCrisis. Let’s be better. Thrift, borrow, rewear.

I wanted to share some of my thoughts on today's Supreme Court decision on affirmative action:

The irony is affirmative action is actually forcing meritocracy in a system designed against it. And white folks, particularly men, are mad because policies like affirmative action make them have to work for opportunities vs get them by default or entitlement.

Term limits need to exist in on ALL levels of government.

Disasters like this flooding disproportionately impact our most vulnerable. Many New Yorkers have no choice but to take flooding trains and buses to work or risk their lives to deliver food. We hope for safety for New York's workers.

Despite the chaos of a severe storm and flooding in NYC, Manhattan remains fairly clear. Meanwhile, folks still need their $15 salads, and the hardworking outer borough residents are expected to brave the closed-down trains and show up for work.
