Nigeria have won 10 out of 13 WAFCON tournaments. They have reached the Semi Finals in every edition. Equatorial Guinea won the WAFCON twice as the hosts in 2008 and 2012. In 2022, Nigeria received two red cards and drew against Morocco. They lost the Semi Final on penalties.
