The idea that 20mph limits are only required outside schools is flawed. Children need 20mph on their whole route from home to school. So does anyone walking to or near shops. The need doesn't disappear on main roads because you find 20mph "annoying" 20splenty.org/brake_rsw_blog

This is #NeedhamSt, speed limit of 25mph at this time of day. The cars driving here are well over the speed limit. There’s a crosswalk in this video too. Could u tell? Do you think a driver could, at those speeds? Do u know what happens if a pedestrian is hit at these speeds?

REMINDER: A #protectedbikelane may be the difference between a joyous bike ride to school or soul-crushing gridlock in the dropoff zone. P.S.: This video is from car-centric #Miami. If we can build protected bike lanes, your city can too. #onelesscar #outsideisbest

75% of Boston area voters support bike lanes that are separated from traffic "even if it means less space for cars." 📊 May 2021 MassInc Poll massincpolling.com/the-topline/bo…

Our default speed limit is 25mph, but cars routinely get up to 40+ mph, even in 20 mph school zones. One town road that heads in Dedham Square (Ames St) has a speed limit of 40mph, also featuring an unprotected bike lane.

WHAT DO WE WANT??? 9-FOOT (URBAN) LANES!!! WHEN DO WE WANT THEM??? NOW!!! Great summary Public Square @TheWarOnCars Johns Hopkins University (yes of course frequent bus routes should maintain 22 foot clear yes of course the fire truck template must fit) cnu.org/publicsquare/2…

Very true. The lanes don’t connect to anything and they are on Ames St (40mph limit) and Bridge at, one of the deadliest roads for pedestrians in the state
