15. Cathedral of Learning, Pittsburgh (1936) Remarkably, it has 29 classrooms, each designed in the style of a different historical period or culture. For example, the first floor is built in 14th-century English style, modelled after the House of Commons

I visited the Archeological Museum of Thessaloníki in Macedonia, Northern Greece. I explored the exhibition “Gold of Macedonians” and I saw some of the most exquisite shards of beauty I have ever seen.. 🧵

Old Fox and the Goddess of War were standing at the edge of a newly ploughed field up on the hamlet heights. Before them, on the horizon, was the sea, the dark, silvery colour of barrow swords. Above, two buzzards circled. The Goddess of War had a dress of bronze flecked in red.

A #Cartier turquoise and diamond tiara owned by Nancy Astor is expected to fetch more than £250,000 at auction. The June sale at Bonham's is the first time the tiara has been on the market since it was bought by Lord Waldorf Astor in 1930. #frockingfabulous #fashionhistory

My fellow Catnadians, it is my sad duty to report that the Last Parliament Hill Cat and my predecessor Coal has passed away at the age of 17. Coal dedicated his life to service as a Parliament Hill Cat greeting visitors from all over the world.

Well this is a potentially divisional be outfit. I can’t decide if it is hideous or striking, a gown designed by the House of Worth in the late 1880s that feels a bit like somebody rootled around the fabric box with a blindfold on & this was the result. Thoughts? V&A
