Morriston Hospital’s Emergency Dept (A&E) is extremely busy. We are dealing with high numbers of very sick patients, including rising numbers of flu cases. From today, staff and visitors, as well as patients where appropriate, are asked to wear face masks at all times.

The experiences of nurses and patients are harrowing to read in the report published by The RCN today and to be clear, this is not the position any of us working in the NHS think is acceptable.
