Tomorrow Waterlow Hall will be full once again for the fourth and final Debate Hub competition of the autumn term. With 25 schools and 132 teams competing, we're finishing 2024 in style! #SHHSWinter #Debate #Powerofpartnerships

Really excited that we have some of our #GDST sister schools coming to our debate competition tomorrow. Putney High School Oxford High School and Streatham & Clapham High School will be joined by 21 other schools in our biggest event of the term. #debate #powerofpartnerships

124 teams have started round 1. This house would ban private landlords.

What an amazing day we had on Saturday! 124 teams from 25 schools. We'll start posting the motions now. Round 1 Juniors was This House Prefers a school with 10 large clubs to 100 small clubs. #shhswinter2024

Round 2 Seniors: This House Supports the legalisation of assisted dying. Interestingly we had a 1.56/1.44 point split between government and opposition teams which is incredibly close.

Round 2 Juniors: THW abolish magistrates.

Round 3 seniors. In a future where cryosleep (think of the Alien films) is only used for space travel, This House Supports cyrosleep being publicly available for personal use.

Round 3 Juniors. This House, as a political activist, Would not appear on opinion networks (very biased news networks) you disagree with. #shhswinter2024

Round 4 Seniors. This House believes that social movements should advocate for the use of  'Malicious Compliance' e.g. Schools under the Utah book ban banning the bible.

Round 4 Juniors. This House Prefers a world with no advertising to the status quo
