A West Midlands Fire Service first 🙌🏼 258 people in a digital ‘get together’ involving all parts of the Service. Great to see this level of engagement from across our Organisation, including all Representative Bodies and staff from various Stations & departments. 👏🏼 #digitalfirst #soldout

We've had 40 cases of our staff being attacked since March. It's 40 too many. Most incidents were verbal, but some involved objects being thrown and weapons. We and our Fire Authority will work closely with West Midlands Police where appropriate to ensure that culprits are prosecuted.
