A disheartening conclusion. There are differing levels of brain health in every person I have ever played with, but the risk factor everyone has in common is a load of repetitive head trauma. Why don’t we just acknowledge the cause and keep reducing the CTE risk for all players.

A fascinating paper putting it plainly that repetitive head injury is the cause of CTE. Dosage of RHI matters (no of contact sessions, tackles made, years played) not merely the number of concussions. Reducing exposure should be where prevention starts.
