Genuinely didn’t realize the Dawgs played today until the score notification hit my phone. That’s where my Butler fandom is right now. Complete apathy. It wasn’t a forgettable season. It was an utterly disappointing one Thank you Michael Ajayi for letting us witness greatness❤️

Positivity alert so don’t engage if you are gonna be a wet blanket. Would have to think the monster year Michael Ajayi had in the system will be beneficial in the recruiting pitch to replace him. Big wings have had great success at Butler under Thad, use that in the pitch.

Appreciative of Thad Matta coming back to Butler. A disappointing end to a legendary coaching career and many thought this run would go differently. Glad he’s staying on as an advisor. Having Thad around still matters and he feels like a natural fit for a GM type role.

I don’t think Jalen says that if Thad’s retirement had been planned behind the scenes. News like that doesn’t stay quiet for long. Someone around the program would have caught wind of it at some point.

St. Patrick’s Day has people doing unimaginable things. Starting to think Thad Matta had one legendary weekend.

No Crown and I think we are all okay with that. Time to turn page on this chapter of Butler Basketball.

I think we all talked about it when Pitino took over St. John's. At the same time CBB is a business and there is very little happening to change that. Like it or not it's the way things are.

Sounds like we got a showdown happening at Butler. One school is begging Butler to take their acting HC. Another school is warning Butler that the other option might just be a better MM coach
