As Eric Tucker points out, only a single paragraph was struck from the indictment by the Judge. All of the charges that were contained in the indictment still remain and the case continues to move forward, slowly.

Today I spoke with Local News Live | LNL about the impact of the SCOTUS decision in the January 6th case. It will affect not only this defendant, but others in DC, as well as the case against the former President. But only as to the specific obstruction charge.

We all saw this coming, based on Justice Thomas’ concurring opinion in the Presidential Immunity case. There will be an appeal or at the same time, an indictment by the US Attorney in DC or the Southern District of Florida. No special appointment required for that

Coming as no great surprise, the 11th Circuit will weigh in on the dismissal. What remains to be seen, is how fast will the docket move.
