We have enjoyed having Trevor from Simple Art at Westmead Public School during Term 2 and I’m sure our Stage 1 students will love his latest mural.

Just received a letter from ACARA stating, “ACARA's analysis of NAPLAN results over the last five years has identified that Westmead PS has performed comparatively well in terms of the percentage of students at the school achieving above-average progress in Numeracy.” Well Done !

Year 4 Living Museum. What an amazing demonstration of student knowledge and understanding of significant Australians!

3N presented their designs to teachers in the TARDIS team today. Students used 3D printers and #designthinking to empathise, define, ideate, prototype and test items that could be used to calm someone down when feeling overwhelmed. We’re so impressed with their clever ideas!

Some students started their holidays early as Year 3 transformed their rooms into significant locations to showcase their learning in geography this term. Visitors were welcomed to a kelp forest, The Great Barrier Reef and The Daintree Rainforest.

Our students will return to school with a new learning, gathering and sharing space. Our Yarning Circle will provide our students and community continued opportunities to connect with each other and Indigenous culture. NSW Dept of Education

Our student leaders were honoured to receive an invitation to the official opening of City of Parramatta ‘s latest community, cultural and civic building, PHIVE. What an amazing resource for our community.

Today was a special day for 4 of our school leaders and Mrs Smith who represented our school at the community bbq in the presence of His Majesty King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Our students were also honoured to meet some of their sporting and creative heroes at the event.
