As we await results in Alabama, officials say turnout is expected to be between 10-15%. Prior to today, officials had been predicting 17-22%. Conventional thinking is higher turnout = better night for Tommy Tuberville.

As of now in #ALSEN, 32,563 absentee ballots have been returned for today’s runoff election. This may be updated as counties conclude processing.

POTUS called Tommy Tuberville first to congratulate him on the win. Jeff Sessions called next to concede.

Jeff Sessions was once so beloved and revered in Alabama that Democrats didn’t even bother putting up a candidate during the 2014 Senate election. Sessions then won fourth term with 97% of the vote.
