Just got out of a superintendent meeting and learned some new things that really don’t seem possible. When Ohio was sued under the DeRolf case the avg state share per kid was at 42%. The avg state share in the OH Gov’s new budget is 38%.

OH statehouse republicans added a provision into the STATE BUDGET that would require all school board races to be partisan. They’re coming after one of the few actual nonpartisan races left. Don’t ever let them get away w pretending they don’t put partisanship above all else.
