Seems to be confusion with Terabethia and the IC’s upcoming ETH integration. Let’s clear it up. Terabethia will utilize the ETH integration when it launches. The ETH integration alone doesn’t enable ERC20 or 721 tokens to exist on IC. Terabethia will always be needed for that

Pwo Daowabunga 🍕 Psychedelic Zane ∞ dscvr.one DSCVR might use Daowabunga to launch their DAO but that's for their team to decide. I believe that will be the case though. And anyone (canisters, and user identities) can become governance committee members in Daowabunga so when Plug switches to wallet canisters we'll have that!

Jordan is in our opinion the best voice in the IC ecosystem today. When he speaks or shares an idea, we should all listen and take it very seriously. This sounds like an awesome idea that will significantly improve the IC 🚀

Builders/devs using social consensus decide things like token standards. Not NNS votes. The market will ultimately decide. We will add support for ICRC if it proves itself and gains adoption. But we are still all in on DIP20. And encourage other builders to continue using it

Once Daowabunga 🍕 & SNS are finally available, the era of truly decentralized apps on the #IC can begin. Until then, all IC apps still have the benefit of a public blockchain providing a "web speed" ledger of asset (token, art, etc.) ownership. Web2 apps don't do that.
