Decided my next OO project after Henry, will be S1 Thomas. Parts arriving tomorrow from shapeways. :)

Thomas body has arrived, will be stored until I am ready to begin working on him.

Decided to redo the boiler bands, couple of them were a bit too thick, so I made some better thinner strips, looks much cleaner now. Same method was used in 1984 for the original series models lining using pin stripe car tape.

Eye brows are not always easy but I will tidy them up once dried.

Henry wasn’t happy.

All booked up for the Flying Scotsman visit at the Bluebell Railway in August. Look forward to seeing her again, will be my second time riding behind her since the visit to Swanage last year.

East Somerset Steam Gala tomorrow, hoping to see the recently restored large prairie tank 4110 in action alongside small prairie 4555 on loan from the Dartmouth Steam Railway.

Henry to resume in the weeks ahead, placed him on hold while I've been working new shift patterns.

Two events coming up this weekend on my list of to do's. Nene Valley Railway for the Sir Nigel Gresley event on Saturday 8th April. Then a trip to Didcot Railway Centre on April 9th to see Furness Railway No.20 Should be a good weekend. :)

Henry to resume in the next couple weeks, placed on hold due to working late and early shifts. More parts on the way to hopefully complete him by July, taking my time as I want him to be as accurate as I can make him.

Should be at the Awdry Extravaganza 3 this year. Enjoyed it last year, this time, hoping to do one of the charter trains.

Retro Devon Belle II, flying along Dawlish Warren Sea Wall on May 27th with Class 50 #50008 'Thunderer' and DB liveried Class 67.

May 27th also saw the 'South Devon Explorer' Railtour heading back up through Dawlish and Starcross behind Jubilee 45596 'Bahamas. Taken at Starcross.

Will be making some model diorama sets in the coming weeks, to try and do a few short videos. :)
