A1: Currently wondering how to connect with students who are not used to digital tools. New yr 7s not used to checking emails etc. and things escalated so fast we did get time to go through it as much as my class needed. #edchatnz

A2: Focusing on connections. Had a google hangout today but only 14/30 made it on. Using Seesaw and Google Classrooms. #edchatnz

A3: tbh, our number one priority is connecting with our young people every day. asking if they are okay. if they need anything. what is going on at the mo. if they need to talk. THEN we will think about academics. PEOPLE FIRST! CONNECTIONS MATTER #edchatNZ

A3 calming down class of diverse learners to settle back into each other's company. Providing stabilising structure that still gives them the agency they've experienced while learning online. Ss who already had huge learning gaps before online & who haven't engaged at all.
