In all the coverage of the new US-China trade deal, I'm surprised that the media hasn't even stated the impact of the Renminbi vs Yuan. The "transparency" we are gonna hopefully get in Phase 2 is for the Yuan.

The Renminbi is still the equivalent of the Federal Reserve and will remain a black box. It's unfortunate that we are touting a trade deal that has potential but really is just an arm twist with no punch.
