Roughly 4000 poplars, 200 currant shrubs, plus summer barley, mycorrhizal inoculant and some hundred meters of fence later, we’ve finished setting up 2 new agroforestry systems for the KlimAF project Julius Kühn-Institut . And the plants are starting to grow

A new study NatureEcoEvo led by Xiaojuan Liu shows: Plant diversity can affect ecosystem functioning directly and by affecting other trophic levels. Data was derived from subtropical forests at the BEF China experiment as well as temperate grasslands @jena_experiment.
