Wout Van Aert in the Tour de France is beyond anything I’ve ever seen in my life, in any sport. Year after year, he does things he shouldn’t be able to do, given his body shape. The man is a delight to watch, one of the best the sport has ever seen.

All I saw today was a Wout van Aert who was 10x times better than in E3. Losing a sprint to Powless is no shame. Wout has lost multiple 1v1 sprints in the past, in what critics say was his “prime”. I’m confident he will race for the podium in RVV and race for the win in Roubaix.
