Day # ?? Of social distancing: BE ACTIVE!! It's easy to sit inside, but even a 30 minute walk is beneficial for both mind and body. I'm not sure Jax and Moose agree!

I got to sit in a brand new John Deere sprayer today at the local COOP. I love getting to learn hands on about the newest technologies in agriculture! Thank you to all who continue to work and provide food, fiber, and fuel during this time!

This morning's view from inside the skidloader. Now that we have fewer pigs, we are shifting around equipment to improve chore efficiency and comfort for the sows.

When I'm not in the pig barns, you can probably find me loving on the new calves. This is a busy time of year, but also one of my favorite times!

Today we deliver lunch to the pasture so the fertilizer can be spread! Fertilizer provides nutrients to the plants, which provides nutrients to the livestock. Understanding ecosystem dynamics is important in production agriculture.

Meet Bo! He was born a twin 2 days ago, but his mom wasn't producing enough milk, so he got a new mom, me! He has quickly learned how to drink from the bottle and is loving his new spacious home!

My job got a littler harder this week. The newest edition (Joe) is learning how to drink from the bottle after his mom died due to unexpected complications. His lot buddy (Bo) is not sure he likes sharing his space yet!

The time has come for the little ones to start feed and water training. They have started nibbling on the feed and splashing in the water bucket!

Sometimes life on the farm pulls at your heartstrings. This momma lost her baby unexpectedly this weekend so we needed a replacement. That replacement is my bottle baby Bo. I've been feeding bo 3 times a day for nearly 3 weeks but now its time for him to have a cow momma!
