Northwest leaders are using the connecting new learning protocol to collaborate around ways to celebrate student achievement and growth school-wide.

Our 8th Grade Career Fairs at CMS, PRMS and WOMS were a HUGE success. Thank you to all of the volunteers who stepped up to help our students see what they could be after graduation. We hope that you will join us for next year’s career events in Northwest.

This year NWLSD is offering a Talent Development Program for second grade students at all five elementary buildings who have demonstrated high potential. Our Gifted Intervention Specialists are leading the program, which is focused on developing thinking skills.

Visited Mrs. Pitzer’s classroom to see the 15 students in the C3 3D Printer’s Club. Students meet 2/week before school. Today they were introduced to Tinkercad Design Studio. Super fun to watch how quickly they were able to apply their learning and persevere with something new!

Together we completed classroom walk-throughs in 7 schools this week. Our teachers are planning engaging learning tasks that are rigorous and require students to collaborate.

On Friday, Colerain High School proudly recognized 15 seniors who have made the courageous choice to serve our country by enlisting in the military after they graduate. Many of these students have also indicated that they will pursue higher education. Way to go CHS Cardinals!!
