Started using cursor today. I don’t quite get the hype yet. Someone tell me how I should be using it vs just using copilot in vscode.

Hot take: software engineers are going to be around for a while to un-muck the things that non-technical founders are building right now with AI. #ai #nocode #software #engineering

I love the American term “peel-and-eat-shrimp”. It wasn’t until after living in Europe that I realized the luxury that is being served peeled shrimp at a restaurant.

CSS is throwaway code. It doesn’t need to be DRY. I’ll always stand by this. Nothing visual stays around long enough to take time organizing and making css “reusable”. 🌶️🌶️🌶️

I've been reading Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport. So far enjoying it much more than Deep Work. So much that I've already taken X off of my phone. Now I schedule 30 minutes a day to browse and post on X from my computer.

I've been away from x/twitter for a week or so. I deleted it from my phone and I honestly haven't missed it once. Even when I schedule time to post from my computer I don't really have the motivation to do it. Has anyone else done this? Is twitter/x really serving your goals?

Has anyone built a product using Stripe Connect? I'd like to hear your experience. Are you collecting "convenience fees" from your users' users' transactions.

I spent most of yesterday trying to decide which text editor to use in my newest project. I have a "mass communication" feature and needed a text editor for composing email. I went with TinyMCE. What's everyone else using?

I started using Cursor last week and I'm pretty impressed. I'm not sure if I'm using all of its features efficiently though. Does anyone have any Cursor tips / workflows they'd like to share? #cursor_ai #cursor #webdevelopment #indiehackers #buildinpublic

I have a ticket to implement dark mode for the SaaS I'm building, but I'm only allowing myself to work on it if I'm completely fed up with everything else. I think dark mode is fun, but it shouldn't ever be your priority over shipping real features and getting users.
