Lots of fun with our new LI-600 Eduardo (Eddie) Barragán Harnawaz Boparai he/him & Karli M.

My fav part of being a Prof.: attending commencement. Tearing up as the Dean asked for all the first gen students to stand up (90% of them) and hearing the pride of their friends& family attending. I was especially proud of Eduardo (Eddie) Barragán, so excited for what lies ahead of you!

Excited to share J. Plant Hydraulics very first spotlight paper on AquaDust and its potential in advancing plant hydraulic research. By @TomBuckleyLab Lawren Sack Lab

Congratulations to Eduardo (Eddie) Barragán for defending his thesis on Friday! Really excited for your future! 😊

Today Cal State LA dedicated a statue of me in front of the Physical Education building, created by the incredible artist Brian Hanlon. What an honor. Thank you to the entire Cal State LA family and community for all you did to make this project happen.
