Not integrating Lightning is not a good sign for a service. Localbitcoins never integrated while Robosats, lnp2pbot, Paxful all did. Relying on the mempool to never fill up just signals you aren’t thinking about what to do in the long term and at increasingly large scale usages.

Although there was a weird campaign against running Tor LN nodes, I kept running mine in 2023 and it turns out it worked pretty well at routing payments. Over the course of the year I earned about the same on Tor as I did on my clearnet node, with similar total capital and peers.
