For clarity, I’m currently documenting my experience trying to adopt two dogs from two different government run shelters in the same county. This is Daisy’s story.

Day 3 at Bexar County Animal Facility. The adoption application was approved. If you’ve ever wondered why some government run shelters across America are understaffed, underfunded and overwhelmed… this is a glimpse at why.
