Entering the "inflation as a driver of adoption" debate. Annual inflation of new $ETH on #Ethereum is ~3.77%. For $ADA on #Cardano, inflation is 7% annually. For $DOGE on #Dogecoin, it's about 4%. USD fiat annual #inflation target is 2% and we had 1 quarter in 10+ yrs at 4%.

If you believe #inflation is a driver of adoption, as far as I can tell, only projects like #Bitcoin with inflation under 2% +its built in halving every 4 years and Pure POS projects like #Ardor based on Nxt where all coins were minted up front, have lower inflation than fiat USD

Adding to the #inflation data here, just watched Coin Bureau review of $ICP. Guy, help me out...an inflation rate starting at 10% and ending at 5% yet you repeat DFINITY Foundation claim that with enough apps, cycles/burns could make ICP deflationary. What does that math look like?

Good question. The replies perfectly display how badly better education resources are needed for Bitcoin. From some who think #Bitcoin has no transparency (it's open source code!!), to others who think you need 3rd party service to transfer it(it's p2p!). Lots of learning needed.
