Forgotten in an IDP camp just 6 months ago in Adamawa, to winning a silver medal+100 dollars at the Chess and community conference in Athens, Georgia 🇺🇸. This is what dreams are made of❤️

An inspiring moment with Zach Mcleroy, Billionaire founder of Zaxby’s restaurant chain who came to watch the kids at the Chess and community conference. He loved the Adire outfits, thankfully we had an extra one for him afterwards.

Nigerians really came out to support us in full force. A couple even drove 6 hours from North Carolina to come cheer the kids. Families brought Jollof rice as well and we had an amazing time. Thank you 🇳🇬 ❤️

These pictures were taken less than a year apart. I hope we understand what this means and fight tooth and nail for the future of our children. One day she’ll grow to become a powerful voice for other girls like her, trapped in IDP camps waiting for their stories to be told.

I’m deeply exhausted but my heart is full. I’ll go to bed now. Please donate to our cause if you can. We want to change the world, but someone has to pay for it. The bigger we grow, the more responsibility we take on. We won’t stop.
