This afternoon, Sunriver Fire and Police responded to a 1957 Piper, prop airplane that had its front landing gear collapse upon landing at Sunriver Airport. Damage to the plane and minor damage to the runway, but fortunately, there were no injuries!

Carpenter Media, which bought Pamplin and promptly laid off Oregon journalists, is set to take over EO Media next month. Oregonians deserve better than this.

EO Media Group announced today that the company is being sold to Carpenter Media Group. We are immensely disappointed not to be locally owned anymore.

Carpenter Media Group has agreed to purchase EO Media Group, which owns The Bulletin, the Redmond Spokesman and 10 other publications, effective Nov. 1. bendbulletin.com/localstate/car…

Carpenter Media presented the NewsGuild with a new wage proposal today, the company's first in about six months. It is, frankly, insulting. Perhaps most egregious, the company proposed $1.00 an hour bonus for "meeting newsroom minimum standards of 2-3 bylines per day."
