Busy times!

Great to see this years winter project works off and running. SheltonsDrainage busy with their new trencher and the greenkeepers installing pipe and gravel!

4th day of the drainage project well underway, all trenches dug and piped, time to put the puzzle together and finish of the gravel and root zone

Great weather for the project work today! The previously unmanaged area between the 7th and 10th greens has been landscaped to provide an attractive wetland environment.

Lots and lots going on Crane Valley GC over the past three weeks. Since installing fairway drainage we’ve moved to Phase 2 of bunker reno’s on the Valley course. Shapes are looking 👌🏻 - big push to get the stone sub-base in today. The guys and contractors have been fantastic!

The new greenside bunker to the right of 10th will have its lower edge meeting the lake. New challenge for us and spent some time making sure the stone sub-base will sit just above the water level. Will be a great feature! Crane Valley GC Murray Long Sam Ewing Ewan Bailey

Great to have the liner installed to the phase 2 bunkers this week. The guys are looking to install the turf as soon as possible. Once phase 2 is complete, all the greenside bunkers on the Valley course will have been renovated with drainage, liner and fresh sand.

Nice to start revetting the newly shaped/lined greensides, both bunkers on the 9th have been completed

Amazing effort by the Greenkeeping Team this week. Spring maintenance practices carried out to greens, tees and approaches. Will set both courses up well for a busy summer season!
