Sen. Bennet has introduced Oil and Gas Bonding Reform and Orphaned Well Remediation Act of 2021 Michael Bennet. Would create orphaned well clean-up fund + strengthen bonding requirements, and create reclamation jobs + clean up public lands that include impacted wildlife habitat.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife awarded funding for 8 Fishing is Fun projects. Funding support totalled $650K. Awards will improve fisheries, angling access, habitat, fishing pier and boat dock.Colorado Parks and Wildlife. Local matches were $2.5 MM. Pleased to serve on the advisory committee.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission decided to set price for the Keep Colorado Wild Pass at $39 for the annual pass. It will be added to vehicle registration beginning in January 2023 although a person may opt out. Please support the Pass next year for our parks and wildlife.

The US Fish and Wildlife Service has listed the northern population of the lesser prairie chicken as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act, in Colorado, KS, OK and TX. We applaud this decision. It also listed a different population in NM and TX as endangered.
