If he's getting removed from captaincy then there won't be long when he gets dropped from the ODI side too. More than the champions trophy exit, his approach with the bat has actually costed him captaincy. I don't see him playing the 2027 World Cup either.

Saud was unfairly dropped as a ODI player. Always had that thought of seeing him in middle order in a batting line up that is prone to collapse/squeezed vs quality spin in middle overs. He can be successful in that format despite of his limited shots vs pace.

Asia Cup memory? Final at Dhaka 2000. Saeed swept and swept SL spinners after an early repreive. Inzi was at his very best. Moin with a quickfire fifty. Wasim taking the most crucial scalp of a centurion Atapattu and then that searing yorker to Upul Chandana.

That late cut of Inzamam Ul Haq was all class. Picking the ball early n Playing it as late as possible was one of the best thing about the great Inzi.

No specific format mentioned. On an overall basis it has to be Miandad. Inzamam. Saeed Anwar. Yousuf, Younis [ in Test ] and Zaheer are next in line. Saleem Malik deserves a special mention [ a great player of spin ]. Babar has chance to go up the ladder.

Only those who go by mere stats before 2024 will say he is mediocre. He is now a good* Test spinner who can take wickets on an unresponsive deck for spinners. Example - Versus England in NZ.

In a T20I the cameo of 21 (10) is a good one considering that you are looking to maximize the powerplay. It gets even better if you carry on and make it a 40 odd one but far better contribution than 40 off 30 anyday. Powerplay is there to take advantage.

Hat-trick to win the game for his side when opposition needed 10 in final over with two set batters at the crease [ including Sikandar Raza on 92 ]. Dilshan Madushanka is a talented bowler who could still go one level above by evolving more with time.

Anticipated the length nicely and played the field well [ man up in the ring at 45 ]. That is one of the better ways [ and target square leg region ] of playing a big shot against someone like Rashid.

Yes no 4 suits Salman Agha the best [ like the way he batted today ]. Although he still at times becomes hesitant but got the skills when it comes to different scoring shots vs spin. I'd like him to have more grip on hitting spinners straight down the ground.

Rauf doesn't change his arm speed on his slower off-cutters which is the key element to deceive batters. One of his wicket taking deliveries in T20. At times he does misses the length but overall possess a good slower one.

Sachin Tendulkar felt he was a bit quicker than what he appeared & he couldn't make the late adjustments against him at times. His best ODI was against India in Hobart in 1999-00. He scored 70 off 52 balls & took a 5-fer, including knocking Tendulkar over for 93.

Some hail Durban 2019 as Sri Lanka’s finest Test win. Others swear by Headingley 2014. Napier 1995 was unforgettable too, but for many The Oval 1998 remains etched deepest. A triumph for the ages; 27 years ago today.

Darren Gough. Quickest English pacer in 90s and early 2000s. Bowled at 146-47 ks at Bristol 2001 in Tri series [ may have touched 150 on occasions ]. His hard length surprised batters at times. Rhythmic run up and action. Good exponent of reverse and yorkers.
