I was pleased to receive the KDSP II National Program Coordinating Unit Team which is in Nyeri County to conduct a comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation exercise to assess progress, identify challenges and provide technical assistance in the implementation of KDSP II.

I had the honour of hosting Dr. Mary Njaramba and Dr. Duncan Kihoro from the Margaret James 1:27 Foundation in my office. Their visit was to acknowledge the County Govt for the support extended to widows and orphans, including the launching of the Nyeri Widows Sacco.

I had the honor of officially closing the training workshop for Nyeri Municipality support staff and drivers. The workshop focused on equipping our team with vital knowledge and skills in areas such as county disaster management policy, occupational safety and health etc.

I presided over the sensitization session of the top County leadership on the implementation of the EU-FAO funded Digital Land Governance Programme (DLGP), graduation ceremony of staff trainees following the successful training of 235 County staff and launch of FAQs on lands.

I was glad to meet an organizing team from Ndumo Festivals who paid a courtesy call to my office. The team led by Deejay Dubizz is preparing an event this weekend on Saturday, dubbed ‘Ndumo Festivals’ Nanyuki Edition, which will be held at Bantu Mountain Lodge. #Ndumofestivals

I joined the Muhito Primary School fraternity in Mukurwe-ini Sub County for a walk to celebrate the school's 100th anniversary, bringing together students, teachers, local leaders parents, and community members.
