Stay Safe Around Water This Summer As the weather gets warmer and we head into the summer months, it’s important to remember the dangers that water can pose – especially for young people. Every year, lives are lost due to accidents in open water that could have been prevented.

We live having St Paul's Y5 in the Academy today experiencing some great learning in Art, Food Tech, and French!

Year 11 celebrated their final exams with Prom last night. Didn't they all scrub up well...not a single shirt not tucked in! Brilliant night. Have a lovely summer and see you on results day.

Y8 had a fantastic day at Chester Zoo.

We were delighted to welcome more Year 5s this week from Silver Springs Primary Academy Stalybridge and Gorse Hall. We hope the students enjoyed their GREAT learning.

Busy week of deeper learning enrichment for Year 8; on Monday students joined in with a STEM challenge and today Girls Out Loud are visiting.

It's show time! Good luck (or as they say in the business, break a leg) to all our performers who are staring in "A Night at the Musicals" later today. The students have worked tirelessly in rehearsals and we are excited to watch the show later!

Wow!!! What an amazing combination of singing, dancing, and acting from our students. From Wicked and Annie to Beauty and the Beast, The Greatest Showman, Six and many more the students were fantastic! So proud of each and everyone.

Well done to our new Year 7 who totally smashed Day One.

What a busy few days at the Academy; reward breakfasts, international languages week, a visit to Ashton 6th form, macmillian coffee morning, a get writing workshop, and a Y11 GCSE Revision workshop. In addition to all the brilliant teaching and learning!

Don't forget our Open Evening tomorrow, with a presentation from the Prinicpal at 5pm and 6.30pm in the Main Hall.

Some of our Y10 students visited ITV today to participate in a storyline workshop hosted by rhe Coronation Street script team where they also learnt about careers in the industry. Oh and have a tour of Britain's most famous street!
