Akihiro is an absolute legend! I have been collaborating alongside him (ok, unevenly.. his output is 100x mine 😅) in the container runtime world for years now. He's awesome to work with and maintaining Docker, containerd, and OCI related projects with him has been a pleasure!🎉

Note: containerd 1.6.28 and 1.7.13 *do not* fix any security vulnerabilities. This release updates the release artifacts in containerd's github which do contain runc. Unless you are using these release tarballs you still need to update runc. runc is the component affected.

#Docker Desktop latest (4.27.1) includes the updated containerd 1.6.28 and runc 1.1.12 to address CVE-2024-21626
