It seems that Uber South Africa Uber has no human staff in South Africa. They will do nothing more that send an automated response , even where it involves the theft of items by their drivers (who they claim are not their drivers). Does this mean that passengers are not insured?

You mean other than return the cell or suspend the driver? Why have you made no effort to get an employee to call and investigate? You flatly refused to suspend the driver, instead sending the same response 4 times. We are escalating & strongly suggest you return the cellphone.

Our airlines seem to be using refunds as a form of short term finance. We will follow up with CemAir Thursday. Ultimately a delayed refund is theft. Should they persist, we will simply take the CEO to Small Claims Court. That Summons always gets a full payment and apology.
