We're delighted to have been awarded Communities Mental Health & Well-being Fund which aims to support initiatives that promote & benefit the mental health in the community. (1/7)

This will allow us to work in partnership with Gilmour & Whitehill Parish Church; The Harvest Church in Burnbank; and Hillhouse Parish Church in Hillhouse. (2/7)

In addition to the re-introduction of SELECT services, the fund will allow the partnership to introduce: services tailored to general mental health & wellbeing (3/7)

digital drop-ins for residents struggling to access face to face services; a breakout area in the Community Café to act as a Calm Coffee Stop to engage sensitively with people and encourage them to participate in wellness activities; (4/7)

training opportunities e.g. digital champions, cooking classes, sewing, knitting (5/7)

The Community Café and SELECT service runs every Thursday at Hillhouse Parish between 10am-3pm, and also every Friday at Gilmour & Whitehill Parish Church between 10am-2pm. (6/7)
