I'm excited about the brand new, code-first DX for Amplify. Fullstack apps configured with simple TypeScript, plus sandboxes, and more. It's been fun working with the team as they brought this to life. Front-end work has never been more fun on AWS! aws.amazon.com/blogs/mobile/i…

🚀 Today Amplify announces a new TypeScript-based, code-first DX inspired by your feedback. Instead of using the CLI or Studio, you can provision your infrastructure in files right in your code! Let’s talk a little bit more about the new experience. 🧵

🤯 These are what’s mind blowing about these features — in less than 24 seconds, you: ✍️ Made a change to your database schema 🚀 Redeployed the database 👩‍💻 Generated new TypeScript types that matches the schema 🧑‍💻 Generated new APIs for reading and writing to the database.

I’ve been behind the scenes on a lot of videos and ads but this was special. I saw first hand how a product I help build, helped a couple plan their wedding. Thanks to the production crew, Fatu for bringing this story to life! Thanks Akwa Ugo for the trust!

I came across a sentence in Next.js docs that says RSC payload is a binary representation of the rendered React Server Component. Is the docs referring to this? If yes, does anyone know why it is referred to as a "binary representation"?

One of the hardest things I have to do as a teacher is naming demo projects. I create 3 to 5 test projects every day and I am bored of names like "test-react-with-zod" or "demo-next-server-action" I like how Astro gives you cool random names though.
