Introducing James Elazzi, one of the Powerhouse & Co-Curious 'In the Room' writers! In 2022, James wrote, directed and produced his short film Yannis officially selected in 7 prominent film festivals including L.A LGBTQ+ Los Angeles Film Festival (winning Best Performance).

Please welcome Gabriel Faatau’uu-Satiu, a writer of the Powerhouse and Co-Curious 'In the Room'. Gabriel is a proud Sāmoan creative from Aotearoa/New Zealand. In 2020, Gabriel founded a Pasifika-led production company, Satiu Studios, as an umbrella for all his creative works.

We're excited to have Randa Sayed for our Powerhouse & Co-Curious 'In the Room' project. Randa Sayed (aka Aanisa Vylet) is a proud Western Sydney Artist. Her first play, The Girl was shortlisted for the Phillip Parsons Playwriting Award and the West Australian Arts Editor Award.

It's a pleasure to have Danielle Stamoulos as a writer of the Powerhouse & Co-Curious 'In the Room' project. Danielle’s supernatural cringe comedy in development Curse of the Virgin, got selected for ACE/Screen Australia.

Meet Andrew Undi Lee, one of the writers of the Powerhouse and Co-Curious 'In the Room' Project! Andrew Undi Lee is a queer, Australian-born Korean director, writer and producer. Recipient of the AFTRS Kenneth B Myer Award for Exceptional Talent.

In the last few months, Co-Curious ran a series of workshops designed for writers interested in developing online series. These workshops were facilitated by Joanna Beveridge and Nicole Delprado and featured a range of industry practitioners. 📷: Erica Long

In February we ran a Producer Workshop as part of our Stories Online Program. It was a packed program at Phive in Parramatta with a range of award-winning producers, writers and creators including Karen Radzyner, Renny Wijeyamohan, Erin Good and Stef Smith. 📷: Lisianne Chan

And now to bring together the writers and producers! On Sunday March 10, Co-Curious held a Pitching Day that was designed to be just like a real life film market. The writers were able to pitch their online concepts to producers and receive feedback on the spot.
