A great start into 2025! Results from Willi Berg master thesis have been published in J. Am. Chem. Soc. : Read about the isolation of [FeH(CO)5]+ and [Fe2(CO)10]2+ Journal of the American Chemical Society pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…

The latest Issue of our flagship journal ChemistryEur is out! Explore the interesting chemistry by Peter Coburger, PalmaResearchGroup, Frédéric Lamaty 🇪🇺, PRS-Group, among others. Find all #OpenAccess articles here: bit.ly/CEUR_25-01 We're looking forward to your next submission!

🚀 Excited to share our latest in J. Am. Chem. Soc.! 📄 "Functionalized Terthiophene as an Ambipolar Redox System" – we show how PCET can be switched 🕹️ in an organic scaffold via redox control. 👏 Big congrats to Daniel Käch & team! 🔗 Read more: pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…

A shared corresponding author paper just out from myself and Peter Coburger, giving a fresh computational look into the importance of aurophlilic interactions on the structures of poly-gold compounds 🪙🪙 For Prof. Schmidbaur on turning 90! 🎂 A fun TU München collab 😁

Thank you Malte Fischer Malte Fischer for picking up the project at very early stage and pushing it all the way to Inorganic Chemistry. Structural Snapshots on Stepwise Anionic Oxoborane Formation: Access to an Acyclic BO Ketone Analogue pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

It was a great pleasure to visit the Inorg Chem department of TU Munich on invitation of Peter Coburger for an extended publishing workshop a few weeks ago! Also a nice opportunity to visit Terrance Hadlington & co - Thanks for having me! coburger-lab.de/news

At times, I did not believe this would ever see the light of day. Thanks to the unwavering support of Evamarie Hey-Hawkins, very pleased to see our review on multi-ferrocene-based ligands out #OpenAccess in Chemical Reviews ACS Publications: pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

New preprint on ChemRxiv! Our latest exploration of conPET/e-PRC #photoredox highlights preassembly and "anti-Kasha" reactivity, even in a system with a long ES lifetime. Thanks to all involved, including collaborators in RCNS TheoChem Group and University of Warwick. chemrxiv.org/engage/chemrxi…

My dream come true! 🌟🤩 our new 600 MHz NMR is finally here! 🤯 I really can't believe it! This is a huge technological leap for the region, for the UCLM and for all research, including my group's! 🙌 I feel so thankful 🙏 European Research Council (ERC) Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha JCCM Never stop dreaming! 💫

We are absolutely thrilled that our long-term project (exp. and theory) on the heavy-atom tunnelling of fluorine has just been published Nature Communications! It is now the heaviest tunnelling-determining atom involved in QMT known to date. Great team CRC 1349 Fluorine-Specific Interactions and JC Tremblay. 😉

It is great to see that our review together with the Federal Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt) on "Rethinking Chlorine: Essential Chemical or Replaceable Risk?" has now been published in ChemSusChem. Great collaboration!!! …mistry-europe.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/cs…

A great afternoon celebrating the 90th birthday of a true chemistry legend, Hubert Schmidbaur TU München Still finding numerous paper-trails which lead back to his group's work 🧪 and wild that we still get to chat about chemistry! linkedin.com/feed/update/ur…
