We are expanding our reach to new wards!🌍 One of our delivering partners, The Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) has officially kicked off the Climate Just Assessment (CCJA) in Luangwa district in the new additional wards to boost up the fight against climate change.🙂

This morning, one of our community delivery partners, the Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) will be hosted on the *Environment Chat* program on Live Radio 97.3FM at 09:10 Join Alice Sayi as she shares what interventions EFZ is undertaking in Shangombo and Sioma districts.

This week, the Climate Just Communities (CJC) project, in collaboration with Disability Rights Watch, is assisting the Zambian government in the assessment and registration of persons with disabilities by the Zambia Agency for Persons with Disabilities in the Southern Province.

This week, our advocacy team is in Shangombo District of Western Province conducting social accountability and advocacy skills training to the community members. The training is being conducted in two wards, State Ranch and Watembo.

This morning, Mr Emmanuel Mutamba the Director of Green Living Movement (GLM), one of our community delivery partners, was on Diamond TV talking about the interventions GLM is undertaking in Sinazongwe District of Southern Province. #CJC

Thrilled to host Scottish Gov officials in Zambia! We visited Sinazongwe District Commissioner & Chieftainess Sinazongwe,who praised CJC’s positive impact in building climate resilience. In Chiyabi Ward, we saw winter crops thriving & engaged with an inspiring VSLA women’s team.

We’re happy to share that Scottish Gov reps met with our CJC partners! Coordinated by NIRAS, with support from CCZ (Luangwa), EFZ (Shangombo & Sioma), and GLM (Sinazongwe), we’re building climate resilience. DRW ensures GEDSI compliance, and CSPR & Tearfund lead advocacy efforts.
