Today, the Sheriff’s Drone Unit was requested to put on a demonstration at Grant Vocational School for their Criminal Justice Program.

Today, the Sheriff's Office was invited to the Village of Williamsburg Opening Day Farmers Market! Featured at the Farmers Market was a  first responders Touch-A-Truck. The Sheriff's SRT vehicle and patrol cruiser were on display for the public view and ask questions to deputies.

This week, the Board of Clermont County Commissioners recognizes National Correctional Officer Week, May 4-10, 2025, and thanks the dedicated Correctional Officers at the Clermont County Jail.

Today, deputies attended the 37th Ohio Peace Officers Memorial Ceremony at the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy in London. We will always honor the memory of those officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Peace Officers' Memorial Day Thursday, May 15th, 2025 More than 60 years ago, President John F. Kennedy set aside May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day — a day to remember and honor the law enforcement officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.

Tonight, Sheriff Stratton attended the UC Clermont College Police Academy Graduation. Clermont County Corrections Officer Jace Canter, graduated and was immediately sworn in as a Special Deputy by Sheriff Stratton following the ceremony.

Today, we proudly recognize Sergeant Sheppard and Corporal Wallace for graduating from the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy Leadership Program. Congratulations to both for their dedication to professional growth and leadership excellence! .

Major Boerger and Major Allen welcomed Captain Hampton and members of the Goshen Township Citizen’s Police Academy to the Jail for a tour this morning.

This evening, the Sheriff's Office took part in the Milford Frontier Days Parade. Sheriff Stratton, along with members of his staff and specialized units, were all in attendance.

Clermont County Corrections Officers Allie Doss and Matt Zirkle graduated from the Corrections Academy hosted by Warren County Sheriff’s Office over the past 23 days. Additionally, Officer Doss was selected as the class valedictorian!

Today, Deputies led the Special Olympics Torch Run 5K that started at the Common Pleas Courthouse in Batavia.

Today, Sheriff Stratton swore in Jace Canter as our newest road patrol deputy. Jace spent the last two years working as a Corrections Officer in our jail. He recently graduated from the UC Clermont Police Academy and we are glad to have him! Congratulations!

Detective Wendy Appelmann represented the Clermont County Sheriff’s Office this evening at the Red, White & Bloom into Independence event at the Wildey Center.  This event connects individuals with developmental and other disabilities to local resources to support independence.
