If as a white person you still have doubts about blatant institutional racism, then I’m afraid you are a part of the problem. There is no murder to shocking, no health disparity to large, and no income gap to wide to make you see the truth...and I feel sorry for you.

Enough with this “Love him or hate him, he was great at what he did” narrative around Rush. He made a career out of spewing bigotry and hate. It’s much easier to get reactions when you attack. That made him an opportunist, not a great media personality.

I will never understand why so many white people are offended when racist actions of the past are called out. Why try to defend these things? Why not just say, yes it happened, yes it was racist, and yes it was wrong! That’s the first step toward solving the problem.

If you’ve ever wondered what team sports are supposed to be about, go back and watch the Ryder Cup post match team interviews. It was everything that being a team is all about, on the winning AND losing side.

Let’s make this perfectly clear. If anyone feels like their world is falling apart, “You got this!” Is not what they want to hear.
